Pudong police rescued a woman who jumped into a marsh to commit suicide on Wednesday evening. The woman, surnamed Zhao, jumped from Waigaoqiao Port after quarreling with her husband.

She fell into the mud during low tide. A firefighter from a nearby oil refinery who tried to stop her also fell in. Police saved the pair after 10 minutes.
