Bodies identified in Shaanxi coalmine blast

Fourteen more bodies were taken out of the mine Thursday morning, increasing the body count to 35 at the Chenjiashan coal mine in northwest China's Shaanxi Province.

All 35 bodies, but one, have been identified by 2:00 p.m. Thursday, according to the rescue headquarters.

The rescue operation, however, was temporarily suspended after three more gas explosions occurred Thursday morning, with no more casualty reported.

Two miners were reported in very critical condition in Tongchuan mine bureau hospital and the others were in stable condition, according to the Shaanxi Provincial Health Department.

The rescue headquarters organized a team of medical experts andexperienced doctors to provide free medical service.
