All overseas liaison offices of the Shanghai international human resource exchange association are to become important bases for the international cooperation of human resources and also an extension of the overseas human resources service system, said Shanghai Vice Mayor Feng Guoqin at a work conference yesterday.
At the conference, Vice Mayor Feng awarded letters of appointment to seven directors of the overseas liaison offices.
The Shanghai Municipal Committee of the CPC and the Shanghai Municipal government consider the overseas talent recruiting a significant part of the city's human resources strategy. Training personnel with international standards is fundamental to enhance local economic and social development, Feng stressed.
The overseas liaison offices have played an important role in promoting Shanghai, conveying human resources information, enhancing international talent exchanges, and the training of personnel with international qualifications, he added.
