Yesterday, the "Flying beds", purported to be the world's largest, debuted on the planes of Virgin Atlantic, the Shanghai Morning Post reported.
The new flying beds, each over 2 meters long and 1.8 meters wide, are worth 60 million pounds.
The seats on the plane will turn into a bed automatically at the push of a button on the side of the seat.  This bed is reported to be wider by at least 30.48 cm., compared to the flying beds on other airlines.
China East Airline is using a chair that can be extended to 180 degrees.  Air France is increasing the personal space in their Business Classes by 27 percent.
Recently, many airline companies from home and abroad have been competing intensely to provide passengers with the most comfortable overnight flights.
