Yesterday - a peak day for city's returnees

Some 240,000 passengers returned to Shanghai yesterday, the last day of the week-long Spring Festival holiday, today's Youth Post reported.
The Shanghai Railway Station, where more than 125,000 passengers arrived into the city, reported a growing proportion of migrant workers. Several thousand more passengers changed trains in Shanghai.
Trains are full from Shanghai to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, Urumqi, Chengdu, Beijing, Shijiazhuang and Guiyang.
The Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and Pudong International Airport registered a combined passenger flow of nearly 150,000 people with more than 70,000 inbound to the city.
Nearly 60,000 passengers returned to the city by long-haul buses.
