South koren grab China's market

South Korean's electornic productors successfully tap the China's
mainland market in the resent five years, according to a survey made by the
South Korean Electronic Association. Xinhuanet.com reported today
The survey
covered ten elecronic categories, comparing the distribution of electronic
products from South Koren, Japan, the United States and China Taiwan in the
mainland of China.
According to the statistics,South korean witness the most
robut growth.
The export quantum of Korean mobile phone and CD driver
uprushed from 4.23 million US$ and 5.59US$ in 1998 to 1.92 billion US$ and 0.14
billion US$ respectively in 2002 ranking the top of the market occupation. The
liquid-crystal diaplay unnit, the printing circuit board and the phonograph also
sees a dramast growth, boasting 1.02 billion US$ and 0.28 billion US$ in export
volume, ranking the second and the third place respectively. While his Japanese
counterpart dropped from the top to the third .
The United States is in a
sluggish situation in the hardware market and Japan still predominat the
high-tech products while South Korea and Taiwan takes an active part in the
market developing. With the further application of digital techonology and the
deploitation of the market, diversification in the China's imported elecronic
products is indispensable, according to the analysis by the
association.
