11/11/2008 10:13

Denver has waived Antonio McDyess one week after acquiring the experienced forward from the Detroit Pistons, the Nuggets said yesterday.

The 34-year-old joined the team with Chauncey Billups and Cheikh Samb in a blockbuster trade on Nov. 3 that included nine-times All-Star guard Allen Iverson going to Detroit.

McDyess has yet to appear in a game for the Nuggets.

A 13-year NBA veteran, McDyess has averages of 13.4 points and 7.7 rebounds. He was the second player chosen in the 1995 draft.
