China's swimming champion Ning Zetao appears in Shanghai on Sept. 13, 2015, receiving a warm welcome from his screaming fans.

The swimmer has been the first Asian man to compete in the final of the men's 100-meter freestyle at the 16th FINA World Championships in Kazan, Russia this year since the world championships was launched in 1973. And finally he took the gold in the competition.

The 22-year-old athlete gains high popularity and is even called as the "National Mr. Right". (Photos: IC)
