Taiwan's New Party visits mainland
Yok Mu-ming, chairman of the New Party, arrived on the mainland on July 6 as the head of a 30-member delegation. His eight-day mainland tour coincides with the 60th anniversary of China's victory in the war against Japanese aggression.

Hu Jintao, general secretary of the Communist Party of China, said yesterday that the CPC is ready to join hands with Taiwan's New Party to promote the peaceful reunification of the motherland.
