World Expo 2010 Shanghai China is a pageant to be staged for the world by China that has both risen high and developed well. It is our belief that with these two features, China will surely make a show of its uniqueness in the coming expositions. As a country of achievement, China pays close attention to the environment of its development and to promotion of sustainable development through environmental protection. As a country that has well developed, China has already worked out its overall program and demonstrated its ability to develop new genres of cities. Shanghai now stands as the most modernized city in the world. It is these two features, rising and development, which will be most eye-catching during World Expo 2010 Shanghai China.  Chinese Version>>

Young people should try to find their road into the future so that they can build a world for the 21st century. This world will carry a brighter mark of the Chinese culture, as I believe, because China will surely come to the fore as a new force in the world during this century. I also hope that Chinese youths should have the whole world in their view, while the young people in other parts of the world should focus their eye on China. How excited we are to think of 2010, when China will present the world a clear picture of the world in the 21st century right through World Expo 2010 Shanghai China!

France has many colleges and universities of journalism, which provide excellent venues for exchanges between Chinese and French students. We warmly welcome Chinese students aspiring to become journalists or media workers to come and study in Paris. Moreover, Paris itself is a world exposition whose curtain never falls. Here we have large museums, the Eiffel Tower, a European culture that is all-embracing, and a French culture that is as ancient as the Chinese culture and that respects the Chinese culture in a way as it is respected by the Chinese culture.
