Le Platane is Justin Quek's signature French restaurant in Shanghai. This Singaporean chef is regarded as one of Asia's foremost interpreters of fine French cuisine. His new restaurant, named after the French platane trees that line the streets of old Shanghai, marries French style and tradition with local spirit.

Le Platane presents two distinct culinary and design concepts on different floors of a stone gate (shikumen) villa. The casually elegant Brasserie and Bar on the ground floor offers high quality comfort food in a warm, relaxed setting. Upstairs, the dining experience is more lavish featuring a classical European ambience and indulgent degustation menus.
