The 2014 Shanghai International Marathon kicks off in the rain at 7:00 a.m. on Nov. 2, 2014, with a record high of 35,000 players participating in the race.

Starting from Chen Yi Square at the Bund, the event includes the full marathon of 42.2 kilometers, half marathon, 10km race and 5km run. The full and half marathon end at the Shanghai Stadium.

11月2日，2014上海国际马拉松赛在雨中鸣枪起跑。共有3.5万余人参赛，创下历史新高。本届赛事设男女全程、男女半程、10公里及5公里健身跑4个项目，起点均为外滩陈毅广场，全程及半程马拉松赛终点设在上海体育场。
