Dozens of international students from Russia, Malaysia, Congo and other countries walked into the Mudan community in the Huanggu district of Shenyang, Liaoning province, recently for a social and cultural activity called "Studying in Liaoning and Understanding China".

The students all experienced the happy lives of residents as they visited the renovated old community and talked to the elderly people and children there.

Anna Van, an international student from Russia, said, "I like the meticulous care for residents' lives in the Mudan community. With its sense of security for the elderly and education for the young, it is a model for ordinary people's happy lives."
