The 42-kilometer shoreline in the central urban area of Suzhou Creek has been basically opened up, benefiting manycitizens. The latest progress is that the Jiading section of the Suzhou River Space reconstruction project has basically been completed, and the installation and commissioning of various infrastructure facilities have been completed. Some spaces are open to the publicnow, and all spaceswill open at the end of March.

The riverfront space now has a leisure area and a fitness area,andbenches are provided for citizens to rest.

The 30-meter-long Xibang Bridge spans Putuo and Jiading districts. It is an important node of the entire connection project. At present, the entire riverfront space has entered the final stage of greening renovation, bridge decoration, and lighting layout. The final effect is expected to be presented at the end of March.
