Citizens will be able to work out nearby the Shanghai Indoor Stadium soon. A comprehensive building at the Xujiahui Sports Park currently under construction will be opened in around February 2022. 

Covering an area of 36 hectares, the Xujiahui Sports Park includes five major structures: Shanghai Stadium, Shanghai Indoor Stadium, Shanghai Swimming Center, the upcoming new complex and the Juss Sports Building. It will become a sports aggregation area with the most complete facilities across the city.

With a construction area of nearly 60,000 square meters underground, the comprehensive building, which will be the first to open to the public, is located in the southwest corner of the park. It consists of indoor and outdoor areas: the indoor area includes 33 badminton courts, 30 table tennis courts, and 3 tennis courts, while there are12 basketball courts and 4 tennis courts outdoors. By February 2022, people living or working nearby Xujiahui will have opportunities to play badminton or tennis in the building.
