How do we deal with the piles of express package cartons left after online shopping sprees? An art exhibition themed “Express Times” displays thought-provoking oil paintings and installation art by Shanghai artist Song Qi over the past five years.

Thanks to Song, the once-abandoned packages, cartons, boxes, and tape are now the focus of attention rather than being afterthoughts. The exhibition which is ongoing at Hong Museum in Yangpu takes visitors on a journey of seeking a balance between material desire and environmental protection.
