Recently, the event "Celebrating the Successful Closing of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics" organized by the Chinatown Foundation was held at the Capital Chinatown Art Center in Mauritius. Everywhere was filled with a festive and happy atmosphere with Chinese red, art fans, contemporary oil paintings and trendy new chairs.

The celebration began with a warm-up video of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. Lin Haiyan, chairman of the Chinatown Foundation, delivered a speech praising the success of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. Then, the four members of Congress delivered congratulatory speeches commending the new measures taken in the Beijing Winter Olympics. In their speeches, they praised China's fast development, the excellent facilities and said it is admirable that 300 million people in China have taken part in winter sports as a result of the Olympics. China and Mauritius have a long history of friendship. They also thanked the Chinatown Foundation for organizing this activity so that they could have a better understanding of China. It is hoped that the friendship and cooperation between Mauritius and China will be further improved.

The organizer presented the main guests with hand-made paper cuts of Bing Dwen Dwen and Shuey Rhon Rhon as historic mementos. Mauritius provided a perfect conclusion to celebrate the successful closing of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
