Tips for health: traditional exercises during Pure Brightness

As the fifth solar term, Pure Brightness marks the beautiful scenery of spring.

Cleaning the tombs and going on spring outing are traditional customs of this day. It is also a fine time to mourn ancestors and appreciate natural beauty.

More exercise is the key to cultivate Yang during Pure Brightness period.

The exercise of Pure Brightness strengthens Small Intestine Meridian Sinew of Hand-Taiyang.

It originates from the little finger, runs toward the scapula and neck along the posterolateral side of arm, connecting to the outer corner of the eye.

While inhaling, open your scapulae and arms to draw a bow, turn your head to see the bow hand. Put down your arms while exhaling.Repeat several times according to your own conditions.

According to traditional Chinese medicine, we should wear loose clothes, sleep early and take more exercises in this period.
