Shanghai Film Park which is located in Chedun Town, one of China’s first batch of special towns is approved to be a national 4A-grade tourist attraction.

As one of the ten film bases in the country, Shanghai Film Park is known for film and television shooting and its old Shanghai landscape.

In recent years, Shanghai Film Park has attracted thousands of film and television crew to produce large amounts of hit shows like Romance in the Rain, Kung Fu Hustle, Lust, Caution, Dressed to Kill, to name a few. At present, the park’s expansion plan has been put on agenda. It is expected to be equipped with 10 studios, including underwater studios and virtual studios to provide thorough facilities for digital filming, stunt shooting, etc.
