The cardboard beds for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Villages this summer have gone viral online. At the World Internet Conference 2021, a Chinese company named Keeson is displaying a smart bed for the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
Following ergonomic principles, the bed provides the best support for the human spine in different use cases. It can disperse body pressure, promote blood circulation, and release the tension and pressure built up during competitions.
Through intelligent technology, it can also provide health protection for athletes by health and sleep management. According to the staff, the bed can hold a person who weighs up to 750 pounds (around 340 kilograms).
