Shanghai Disney Resort announced on August 31 that the hyperspace SoReal VR will officially open in Disneytown on September 10.

Most of the experiences and designs in SoReal VR are based on the classic Chinese novel "Journey to the West", with the "Super Shadow Space of Great Sage Equaling Heaven" attraction on the second floor creating an immersive experience with creative light and shadow, real-time interactive design, special effects modelling devices, 3D scanning and holographic displays to jog visitors’ memory of the "Great Sage Equaling Heaven".
