Exchange rate slightly down at major Egyptian banks

CAIRO, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- The exchange rate of the U.S. dollar inched down at the five major banks in Egypt on Sunday, the MENA news agency reported.

At the Arab African International Bank (AAIB), the dollar price reached EGP 17.77 for buying and 17.87 for selling.

At the Commercial International Bank (CIB), the dollar exchange rate declined to EGP 17.75 for buying and EGP 17.85 for selling.

The dollar price stood at EGP 17.75 for buying and 17.85 for selling at the National Bank of Egypt.

It recorded EGP 17.78 for buying and 17.88 for selling at Banque Misr.

At Banque du Caire, the dollar buying price stood at EGP 17.75 and its selling price at 17.85.
