China's foreign trade of goods went up 29.2 percent year-on-year in the first quarter to 8.47 trillion yuan, customs data showed on Tuesday.
The country's exports grew by 38.7 percent year-on-year to 4.61 trillion yuan in the first quarter, while its imports amounted to 3.86 trillion yuan, jumping by 19.3 percent over the same period a year earlier, the General Administration of Customs said.
