The Belt and Road Forum (BRF) for International Cooperation opens in Beijing, capital of China, May 14, 2017. During the forum, Wang Jianlin, Chairman of Wanda Group revealed that the Wanda’s future development emphasis will be put on “the Belt and Road”.

According to Wang Jianlin, in the coming future, the group’s overseas development strategy will be more concentrated in the countries and regions along the Belt and Road.

“We have many projects in Europe and North America in the past few years. Considering the privilege policies, financial support and connectivity opportunities along the Belt and Road, we will certainly expand more projects in this region.”

Wang revealed that Wanda this year will expand two projects in two countries along the Belt and Road. The large numbers of overseas projects have made Wanda the enterprise with the world’s third largest-scale export of cultural tourism industry, following the Disney and Universal.
