KUNMING, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- The 2018 China Kunming International Health and Wellness and Pension Industry Expo will open on Nov. 9 in Kunming, capital of Yunnan Province, known as "Spring City" known for its balmy weather.

Organizers said Thursday that a total of 360 companies from 10 countries and regions, including Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Australia, Germany, India, Singapore and the United States are expected to participate in the four-day expo.

Five exhibition halls have been set up in an area of 42,000 square meters. Forums and meetings on health, pension, biomedicine and green food resources will also be held.

With abundant biological, ecological and cultural resources, Yunnan plans to develop a world-class health and wellness industry.
