Liu Chenggang, a scientist on board research vessel and icebreaker “Xuelong,” or Snow Dragon, hugs his wife after his team wrapped up a 78-day expedition to the North Pole. The vessel returned yesterday to its dock in Shanghai. This was China’s seventh science exploration to the North Pole.
