Shanghai Belt and Road cruising exhibition opens in Estonia

An opening ceremony of cruising exhibition of economic and cultural cooperation along the Belt and Road was launched in Tallinn, capital of Estonia on September 11. Sixty-three corporations from Shanghai attended the event, showcasing diversified featured cultural programs.

Co-sponsored by Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (SPAFFC), Shanghai Association of International Services Trade and Eastday, a popular local media, the exhibition has become SPAFFC'S brand project.

The project which goes into the three Baltic nations with Estonia as the first station greatly helped promoting local people's knowledge of Chinese culture and increasing potential cooperation opportunities between Shanghai and Central Europe in technology innovation.

As the first large scale communication between the two cities, through integrating economy and trade promotion with intangible heritage show as well as teenagers' communication, the activity received a warm welcome from various local circles.

Estonia was a key point along the ancient Silk Road. With prominent advantages in labor and service resources, the country has great development potential and enjoys the reputation of "Silicon Valley of Baltic" in terms of its advanced technology.
