Bruno Mars is the biggest winner of the 60th Grammy Award

The 60th Grammy Awards ceremony was held on the local time January 28 in New York. The American singer Bruno Mars was the biggest winner of the night, sweeping six awards, including album of the year and the annual song of the year awards.

This year the Grammy Award had 84 awards in total. The song “That's What I Like” of Bruno Mars won the song of the year while his another song “24k Magic” won the record of the year. What’s more, his album “24k Magic” also won the album of the year. Besides, he also won the best R&B performance, the best R&B song and the best R&B album.

Rapper Kendrick Lamar won all the rap awards. His song “Humble” won the best rap performance, the best rap song and the best music video. His album “Damn” won the best rap album. What’s more, “Loyalty”, sung by Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna, won the best rap/song performance.

In the field of movie and TV music, the best compilation soundtrack for visual media award and the best score soundtrack for visual media award go to “La La Land”. While “How Far I’ll go”, the theme song of Moana, won the best song written for visual media. And its singer Alessia Cara won the best new artist.

However, people laugh and people cry. The hip-hop king Jay-Z, and female singers Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift didn’t win any award.

This year, the Grammy Award finally came to New York after the entire 15 years. However, next year it will be back to Los Angeles.
