An Israeli Diamond Direct Selling Center is to be built in September in the Greenland Global Commodity Trading Hub, a one-stop services platform built by the Greenland Group for the import enterprises participating in the upcoming China International Import Expo (CIIE), announced the group on July 24, the second day before the 100-day countdown to the second CIIE.

According to Xue Yingjie, Chairman and General Manager of the Greenland Trading Group, it has already agreed to cooperate with Caprice, a leading Israeli gold and diamond jewelry company. The prospective diamond center will stock about 1000 diamonds, at the most optimal price with the quickest delivery; with each loose diamond mounted within 30 minutes. Moreover, the center will be both a diamond museum and sales showroom focusing on offline direct selling, the only one of its kind in China.

As of the end of June, 120 merchants from 45 countries and regions with 22,000 items have been introduced to the trading hub, covering food, alcohol, daily necessities and small household appliances. Among them, 20 businesses with 300 exhibits took part in the first CIIE.

In the second half of the year, the trading hub is scheduled to open 18 new pavilions including the national pavilions of France, Belarus, South Africa, Norway and Malaysia and the Israel Diamond Pavilion.
