The 22nd Pet Fair Asia will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center later this month and it will be open to the general public on August 24 and 25.

This year’s exhibition has been upgraded with 14 exhibition halls holding more than 1,600 exhibitors and 20,000 brands from all over the world, exhibiting products and services for pets.

Eleven special areas will be set up at the exhibition, such as the cat products area in hall E7, the imported pet food area in hall N4 and the international brand area in hall N5.

In the hot summer, pets like playing with water. In cooperation with CKU (the China Kennel Union), the organizer of the exhibition plans to hold some international pet fun events such as diving and swimming competitions with professional swimming lifeguards safeguarding.

During the pet fair, a cat pageant will be held as well, in which two hundred precious cats worth over 10 million yuan will participate.

In addition, more than 200 purebred racing dogs will be showcased for senior examiners to select excellent dogs of all breeds from the perspective of better births and better upbringing.

Furthermore, pet owners will also be able to enjoy a pet fashion show where new autumn and winter pet collections from Italy, Japan, China and other countries will be displayed.
