On the evening of June 16, Yu Garden welcomed a group of wives of ambassadors to China. They came to Shanghai with the ambassadors to attend a special thematic dialogue called “Stories of CPC – Shanghai’s Achievements in Practicing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era”.

Some of the ambassadors' wives were completely new to Shanghai, but they had fallen in love with the city at first sight; others were already familiar with the city.

That night, Yu Garden won the hearts of the ambassadors' wives through its exquisite Jiangnan-style gardens, cultural & creative products with strong Shanghai characteristics and intangible cultural heritage.

When they left, many of the ambassadors’ wives expressed their hope that they would return to this place next time with their husbands and children to have more shopping experiences and choose some Shanghai souvenirs before leaving.

Amani, wife of the Jordanian Ambassador to China, took a photo in front of the light box with the word "YUYUAN" in the center of Yu Garden. When asked if she would recommend Jordanians to come to Shanghai and visit Yu Garden, she smiled and said, "I just took a photo there to remember the name of the place!"
