Domestic products in demand on Double 11

The annual "Double Eleven" shopping festival is here again, and consumers still cannot help spend money while complaining about the few accounts offered by the merchants. At the same time, there have been some new changes in this year’s Double 11 shopping spree.

Compared with previous years, China’s domestic products have won a larger number of consumers. The number of Chinese brands gaining a turnover of more than 100 million yuan on Tmall from 00:00am November 1st to 00:45am November 11th has reached 382. Among them are not only popular brands like Huawei and Erke, but also time-honored brands such as Pechoin and Warrior Shoes, and new emerging brands like Bananain and Tineco.

The case is the same on JD.com. The website has seen the fastest growing consumption among national brands this year. As statistics show, the sales of time-honored cross-over products increased by 105% within four hours compared with the same period of last year, and first- and second-tier cities lead the growth rate list of Chinese brand consumption.

As per a report by Baidu.com, Adopt A Cow, an emerging dairy brand founded in 2016, achieved the highest year-on-year increase in search number, while the TOP 5 hottest Chinese brands over the past month are Huawei, Xiaomi, Anta, vivo and DJI.
