Visitors to the Minhang Cultural Park might have noticed several European-style blue and white buildings, which have been built for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and depression.
North of the Water Garden of the park, the main building called “Blue Music House” is a three-storied structure covering an area of 274 square meters.
The first floor, in particular, is a themed area of music therapy for people with ASD, depression and cognitive impairment. Activities will be hosted in the area.
The second and third floors will be used for exhibitions and meetings.
Opposite to the main building, there are three music-assisted therapy rooms along the river, where people can relax and improve their mood.
The buildings will be completed and open to the public as soon as January 2022.
