After China’s Youtube star Li Ziqi, an account named Zhang Tongxue on China’s short video platform Douyin has become an Internet sensation.

A bachelor living in north China’s Liaoning province, Zhang, who is in his 30s, posts videos of his daily life. The videos have garnered nearly 10 million fans within two months.

Each of his videos lasts six minutes, but they contain nearly 300 shots. The details, together with the infectious background music (BGM), have led to the popularity of his videos. That also differentiates Zhang from other vloggers of rural life.
