Shanghai will continue enhancing its COVID-19 prevention and control measures for people coming from domestic high- and medium-risk areas, said Wu Jinglei, director of the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission.
Anyone coming from, or passing through, risk areas is required to report their travel to their residential community (or the hotel they live in) within 12 hours after they arrive in Shanghai.
People coming from or passing through high-risk areas are required to have four nucleic acid tests and quarantine for 14 days at designated venues.
Anyone coming from, or passing through, medium-risk areas will need to have two nucleic acid tests during the 14-day observation period at their residential community.
