A group of primary school students from Shanghai initiated a campaign called “Wish for 2022” and translated different people’s wishes into Morse code to be shone into the night sky.

In 2021, we have witnessed many achievements and exciting moments, but there are also some regrets. Some have lost their family members; some have been apart from their friends overseas for over a year; some went through some troubles in their career or relationship with others. But everything will get better. After collecting people’s wishes for the New Year, kids from two of Shanghai’s primary schools sent them 547 kilometers above the ground through the “Ladybug 1” satellite. They hope the entire world will be blessed with love and hope.
