An outdoor ice rink is open to the public from January 19 to February 24 at one of the city's most iconic sites beside the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, with the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics just around the corner and the Chinese people's passion for the cold greater than ever.

Professional coaches providing guidance are available on site so that everyone can participate in ice sports, regardless of whether they have the basic skating skills.

During the 40 days, a variety of thematic activities for ice experience will be held on the occasion of Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day. At the same time, there will also be a series of professional demonstrations of figure skating, speed skating, ice hockey, team skating and other winter sports.

This is the third year that "iCE LiVE" has been held. The 600-square-metre rink can accommodate 100 people for ice skating.
