On August 16, the first exhibition of the "Jiangnan Living Room - Yangtze River Delta Traditional Craft Life Aesthetic Design Exhibition" was launched. The exhibition adopts the concept of "Jiangnan Living room" to show the integrated development of traditional crafts in three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta region.
There are more than 260 pieces of work, involving 54 traditional craft projects of the Yangtze River Delta region, 42 inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, 32 artists and designers, and 18 design brands."We mainly want to talk about how the traditional craft in the Yangtze River Delta region has come into modern life and become a way of life through this exhibition," said Zhang Lili, a professor of the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, Shanghai University.
The first exhibition of "Jiangnan Living Room" will last until late September, followed by an academic forum entitled "Aesthetics of life with traditional Jiangnan crafts " and other activities.
