The first batch of inbound exhibits of the 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE) arrived in Shanghai smoothly after being inspected and released by Shanghai Customs on September 20, according to Orient International (holdings) Co., Ltd.

The 25 pieces of rare jewelry artworks worth 560 million yuan were made by renowned artist Wallace Chan, and include the "Stilled Life" Cicada Brooch and Sculpture, which is well known from the La Biennale Paris in 2012. It is not only the first batch of exhibits to arrive in Shanghai at the 5th CIIE, but also their first appearance at the CIIE.
