Including extra content on the prevention of coronavirus in ads for medical treatment, drugs, medical equipment and other health products is prohibited, said a notice issued by the Shanghai Administration for Market Regulation on Tuesday. Exaggerations or false promotional claims on disinfection products are banned and marketing common facial masks or masks for industrial use as medical facial masks is also prohibited.
