SHANGHAI unveiled 152 major construction projects for 2020, a statement issued by the city’s development and reform commission said yesterday.

They focus on the science and technology industry, people’s livelihoods, ecological civilization, urban infrastructure, urban-rural integration and rural revitalization.

There are 42 science and technology industry projects, covering scientific innovation center, advanced manufacturing and the modern services industry. Nine of them are newly started, including the regional headquarters of China National Nuclear Corpand Huawei’sResearch and Development Center in Qingpu District.

People’s livelihood projects include eight in education, 10 in health care and seven in culture and sports.
