Li Qiang, a newly elected member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the 20th CPC Central Committee, will no longer serve as the secretary, a standing committee member, and a member of the Communist Party of China Shanghai Committee, said the Central Committee of the CPC today.

Chen Jining will take up these roles, the announcement said.
