A Canada's educational outreach activity was held in Shanghai on 2nd March, 2016, as the International Channel Shanghai (ICS) released the preview of its TV specials on studying in Canada.

The TV serial in 4 episodes will be broadcast in the programme All About Going Abroad on ICS from 5th March, featuring advantages and characteristics of studying in Canada from primary schools to universities.

The Consulate General of Canada in Shanghai and the educational institutions in Ontario and British Columbia also contributed to the shooting of the TV specials.

Weldon Epp, Consul General of Canada in Shanghai said in the activity that the high quality of Canada's education organizations is very competitive in the world thanks to its public education system.

As the TV host Steven Weathers viewed that the safe, beautiful environment and friendly locals are some of the advantages in studying in Canada. Besides, "culture shock is less" for Chinese owing to the large number of Asian students there.
