Shanghai, April 14- Amazing Boat series of activities kick off at China Maritime Museum recently, attracting groups of children who have strong interest in boats.

50 of them are little painter, coming with their parents and taking a visit to China Maritime Museum, firstly found their “most beautiful boat” and then paint them out.

Little painters’ boat will be selected through online vote and the best work will be printed on postcard, while the rest will be exhibited at the museum.

The other 60 children are model boat enthusiasts, bringing their hand-made model boat and sailing ship model to actively participate in Shanghai Marine Model Open 2016.

Chen Ansheng, a youth group world champion, also participated in the competition.

Once being the Youth Group champion of the 18th World Navigation Model Powerboat Championship and successfully broke the world record, Chen Ansheng also showed her appearance in the competition.

The 16-year-old girl told reporter from Eastday.com that her father is also a model boat enthusiast and under her father’s influence, she has played on model boat for 6 years.

Shanghai Marine Model Open, organized by Shanghai Navigation Model Association, China Maritime Museum and Shanghai Military Sports Club, has become a traditional sports competition among Shanghai youth.
