东方网5月9日消息：昨日，美国基石学校与上海东方外国语学校在上海宣布合作办学并举行了签约仪式，美国基石学校上海东方外国语分校也正式落户上海。

Shanghai, May 9- The US Cornerstone Academy announced to cooperate with Shanghai Oriental Foreign Language School in running school and held signing ceremony yesterday, meaning the official settling down of Cornerstone Academy’s Shanghai Oriental Foreign Language School branch school.

美国基石学校校长Mr. Cutler以及上海东方外国语学校李茂銮校长出席了签约仪式，并表达了对创办优质国际教育的信心和愿景，学校创办人沈介祥先生在签约仪式上对学校的未来发展充满信心，寄予厚望。

Cornerstone Academy’s principal Mr. Cutler and Shanghai Oriental Foreign Language School’s principal Li Maoluan both attended the signing ceremony, and expressed confidence in providing high quality international education. The school founder Shen Jiexiang also expressed his confidence in the future development.

美国基石学校上海东方外国语分校坐落在上海第三大国际社区-唐镇，前靠金桥，后毗张江，在科技指数、人才济济的地块结点。记者在现场看到，学校拥有高配置多媒体课室、形体练功房、图书阅览室、机器人实验室、3D打印室等多种功能教室，独栋室内体育馆和模拟高尔夫球场以及高配置两人间学生公寓。

Located in Shanghai's third largest international community- Tangzhen, the Cornerstone Academy’s Shanghai Oriental Foreign Language School branch school is facilitated with high- configuration classrooms, reading rooms, multimedia classrooms, indoor stadium and warm dormitories.

学校希望通过这种多样的教育培训场地，让学生既能接受中方教育，又能享受西方素质教育并拿到相应的学分。

“We hope to provide both Chinese basic education and western quality-oriented education for our students through various education facilities,” said Shen Jiexiang.

据悉，美国基石学校成立于1975年，距今已有40余年办学历史，而目前落户上海的美国基石学校东方外国语分校招收的是国际小学一年级，国际预初班（招收对象为五年级）、七年级国际班，以及高一国际班的学生。

Established in 1975, Cornerstone Academy has 40 years' history. The newly founded Cornerstone Academy’s Shanghai Oriental Foreign Language School branch school is recruiting grade 1, 5, 7 students of international primary school as well as grade 1 high school students.
