Shanghai, May 28- Sino-German Vocational Education Alliance, co-launched by Tongji University, Sino-German Vocational Education Cooperation Demonstration Base, Shanghai Modern International Education Institute, Berlin Vocational Education Group, was set up in Shanghai this morning.

The alliance, through cooperation with 3 Sino-German Vocational Education Cooperation Demonstration Bases in Chongqing, Tianjin and Qingdao and numerous vocational education institutes, will approach high-quality resources of German authoritative vocational education institutes so as to expand the depth and breadth of Sino-German vocational education cooperation, improve the quality of Sino-German vocational education cooperation and efficiency and to promote the construction of China's modern vocational education system.

Reporter from Eastday.com knows from the alliance launching ceremony that the alliance platform will focus on the vocational education service under the economic new model including "transferring mode, adjusting structure and promoting the upgrading of key areas” as well as vocational education personnel training mode innovation and professional quality improvement and other key projects under the background of “German industry 4.0” and “Made in China 2025”.

“Made in China 2025”and “German industry 4.0” are both important strategies under the new round of technological and industrial revolution. Chinese and German governments now have reached consensus on the cooperation to strengthen industry 4.0 and will have great cooperation space in the coming future. Sino-German vocational education cooperation is also facing brand-new tasks.
