On the 90th anniversary of the PLA, a joint marriage registration ceremony for twelve military couples was held in Shanghai's Pudong Marriage Registration Center.

"It is a great honor to get a marriage license on Army Day. It is quite meaningful for me." said Chen Wenlong, a member of the People's Armed Police.

At the ceremony, the staff of the Marriage Registration Center helped each couple mail letters to their families so that they could share the joy with their parents who live faraway.
