Highlights in the second half of 2017: Yangpu District

Key word: Innovation & Entrepreneurship

Yangpu District will give full play to the advantages of intellectual superiority of colleges and universities, the spatial advantage of the transformation of old plant and the strategic advantage of the twin demonstration base.

According to its scheme, a large number of major projects will be attracted to settle down in this district in the next half of the year.

The district will also pay attention to cultivate a number of excellent enterprises in various niches.

Key word: Tunnel + Metro

Transportation is always an important thing.

The district will in the second half start two tunnels and two metro projects: Zhoujiazui Road Cross-river Tunnel, Jiangpu Road Tunnel, the Yangpu section of Metro Line 18 and the second phase of Metro Line 10.

The demolition of unapproved buildings along the river is another important thing as Yangpu has 18 watercourses with a total length of 56.19 kilometers.

Currently, the demolition task has already been completed. And Yangpu is still making efforts on watercourse dredging projects and water quality improvement.
