It's a sea of pink and green! Chinese and foreign friends from all walks of life recently took part in the 7th Annual Luncheon Auction caring for breast cancer patients at the Pudong Shangri-la Hotel in Shanghai.

The event empowers and inspires women to fight against breast cancer through proactive prevention, active treatment & recovery, wellness from within, and sisterhood support.

The hall resounded with the warmest applause when 200 local breast cancer thrivers entered. Some of them had participated in the social activity for the first time since they were diagnosed.

Excellent performances were brought by the cancer thrivers and volunteers from the Shanghai Cancer Recovery Club and the "More Than Aware", a charity organization for breast cancer prevention and rehabilitation.

All funds raised here were donated to the Shanghai Cancer Recovery Club.

The event was also attended by the representatives of the Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries as well as female consuls and wives of consuls from foreign consulates in Shanghai.
