Salzburg young singers re-stage in Shanghai

“Young Singers Project” of Salzburg International Art and Music Festivalheld its tour show in Shanghai Grand Theater on November 30.

With six young singers staging to sing 17 classic opera excerpts by masters like Mozart, Puccini, and Rossini, the fifth Hangtang International Music Festival kicked off.

“Return” is one highlight of the 2017-2018 Hangtang International Music Festival. Musicians and music groups which had been invited to China are scheduled to perform on the festival’s stage again including performers of the “Young Singers Project” of Salzburg International Art and Music Festival, French harpist Emmanuel Sesson, Russian "Golden Age" Baroque Chamber Orchestra, etc. In addition, tour show times and show cities are expected to be added.

To create a platform for western and oriental cultures’exchange,“entering theaters--- Hantang International Music Festival" was started by Shanghai Hantang Culture Development Co., Ltd in 2013, being China’s first public welfare performance designed and operated by a media company.

In 2015, Hangtang International Music Festival officially signed with Salzburg International Art and Music Festivalto conduct art exchange.

This year’s tour show of “Young Singers Project” of Salzburg International Art and Music Festival kicked off in Beijing National Grand Theater on November 19.
